What makes MBAF a best place to work? A few of the innovative benefits MBAF offers include, flexible work schedules; participation in company sports or wellness experiences such as yoga and rooftop fitness classes; unique learning opportunities through MBAF University, with a broad curriculum focused on developing our team members across all practice areas from new hire to partner level, and much more.
The South Florida Business Journal’s latest honor follows MBAF being named a 2018 and 2017 Best Accounting Firm to Work for by Accounting Today.
“Over the years, I have watched MBAF grow into the largest independent firm in the state, while also continuing to provide the highest level of client service possible. We would not be where we are today without our committed employees, who have made this company welcoming and engaging for their peers and clients alike,” said Tony Argiz, CEO and Chairman of MBAF. “I want to thank our employees for their crucial role in MBAF’s success, as both a place to work and an invaluable resource for our clients.”
Other fun and relaxing incentives the firm provides for its employees include massage days, ice cream breaks and catered lunches during stressful times like tax season. MBAF also encourages teambuilding time away from the office, hosting outings like Employee Appreciation Tailgates at Dolphin’s Stadium and giving administrative staff an extra day of paid time off on Administrative Professionals Day. On employee birthdays or holidays such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, MBAF gives staff presents to make their special days even better. As the 7th largest corporate philanthropist in South Florida, MBAF supports over 100 charities and encourages employees to give back to their community and improve the lives of others by volunteering for non-profit initiatives as well.
Finalists for the South Florida Business Journal’s Best Places to Work award were selected based on the results of an employee survey administered by Quantum Market Research. MBAF is one of the Best Places to Work finalists selected from hundreds of applicants in the large company category. Finalists were chosen based on their performance in the areas of communication and resources, individual needs, manager effectiveness, personal engagement, team dynamics and trust in leadership.
