FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Andrei Lucas is a London-based songwriter and producer now releasing his debut EP entitled Paradise Passé, a project based on personal development in a post communist background that is mixed with the western London view on art, artists freedom of expression and freedom of creation.

Andrei’s main inspiration comes from his life with a background in post communist Eastern Europe yet learning native English in Canada in his early teens. The multicultural background has become a constant source of musical ideas, allowing Andrei to write and produce music for an international audience that loves pop music.

“My overall aesthetic and message are based on my post communist life combined with now living in London, a completely different western world with freedom of expression. Paradise Passé is about overcoming life difficulties, struggling with mental health and moving on from a religious background towards my emancipation.”

His debut EP lyrically documents the journey of a young person letting go of one's youth and stepping into maturity by owning who they are. The moment of separation between the two chapters is condensed. Andrei's lyrics are addressed to the young people who are in tune with today’s realities and want to escape through music into a world of imagination, where all the cultural backgrounds are welcome in a safe space.

Andrei's music is a love letter to young listeners who want to feel included and listened to, and who want to feel like they matter.

Releasing his debut album entitled Paradise Passé , London based songwriter and recording artist Andrei Lucas talks about how his post communist background has had an effect on his artistic growth and development and the cultural shock after living in the western world.
