Former Warner Bros. executive pens debut novel

Romantic thriller tells both sides of the gripping story

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Bournemouth May 2021. A writer has published his debut novel, telling the story of both the male and female character’s point of view – with plenty of twists and turns throughout.

The Opposite Sides of a Coin delves into the way two people try to find a way out of their loneliness in an increasingly digitally-connected world, where it is easy to hide who you really are. The theme is about identity and what people perceive you to be – rarely is the truth only skin deep.

With three big twists, the romantic thriller set in modern-day London from Dominic Wong – the former marketing director of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter. He is currently a marketing consultant for a range of international theme parks, museums and visitor attractions.

Early readers have rushed to get to the end of this compelling and tantalising first novel - "what a twist at the end!", “a fast-paced absorbing read” and “the premise is excellent, very clever”.

Dominic Wong certainly knows how to tell a story. He has put his imagination to work at the Harry Potter Studio Tour, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. He was the creator and executive producer of A Right Royale Tea – a comedy afternoon tea dining experience following a fictional royal family and now he has turned those talents to novel-writing.

Wong said, “From my background in fun and exciting visitor experiences and learning from the very best in the movie business, I was inspired to write my first novel. I wrote 72k words of the first draft in eight days, starting at 5am and finishing past midnight!”

“I am ecstatic with the positive early reviews and look forward to bringing further ideas and stories to life.”

The Opposite Sides of a Coin is available on Amazon in ebook and paperback. A sequel will be released in 2022.
