Campus Consortium Announces $275,000 in Technology Grants to Council of Independent Colleges

Grant Provides Cloud-based Cybersecurity & Identity and Access Management Solutions

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Campus Consortium, a global non-profit education association, announced today that it has awarded $275,000 in Technology Grants for cloud-based identity and access management solutions to Council of Independent Colleges. Awarded institutions include Maria College of Albany and Seton Hill University. The Grant was designed in collaboration with and supported by QuickLaunch™.

“We aim at improving institutional processes and procedures to boost our operational efficiency,” said Mary C. Finger, President of Seton Hill University. “The Grants offered us the opportunity to have an identity and access management solution that will provide students with a smooth and secure login experience while allowing technology support staff to quickly work through any potential problems on university’s systems or on student accounts. This solution will also help us automate our entire new student and staff onboarding processes, especially as we are working remotely. We received the grant on April 20, 2020, kicked off our project on June 29th and are looking at launching our new platform by August.”

“We recognize that our schools need help adapting to a new way of doing business,” said Anjli Jain, Founder and Chairman of the Campus Consortium. “Our cybersecurity grant is designed to help schools move mission critical, premise-dependent services quickly and securely to a cloud-based environment. For example, these institutions can now onboard new users virtually and securely in the cloud. The grants awarded also give students, faculty and staff one-stop access to all campus services with enhanced security features like multi-factor authentication so that their data can be protected from wherever they are studying or working.”
