HISTORIC SCOTTISH CASTLE WHICH WAS THE SCENE OF A KING’S BANQUET COULD BE YOURS FOR ONLY $160,000 / £130,000

New Book brings to life some of the potential adventures that took place in this bargain Castle

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Derek Gorman’s new novel, The King’s Banquet, brings to life the story of King James VI’s visit to Knockhall Castle in 1589. The Castle has been on the market for several years for only $160,000 / £130,000 but is yet to find a buyer. Now some events of the King’s visit have been brought to life in this novel.

King James VI was a controversial character who believed he was descended directly from God. It was therefore a difficult evening for Lord Sinclair, who was hosting the King, to celebrate his impending marriage and path to becoming the first King of both England and Scotland.

This novel, crafted through extensive historical research, incorporates actual characters and true events of the day. The aftermath of the momentous banquet influenced the remaining lives of all the characters – including King James, who changed British history and society for centuries to come.

“The story of Knockhall Castle is one of beauty and intrigue. A Castle that has sat idle for 250 years, which anybody could trade in their home for and own a Castle, is a dream come true. Bringing to life some events that could have happened here was my duty as a writer,” – Derek Gorman, Author.
