JEMISON, ALABAMA ____ January 7, 2020 (For Immediate Release)
Jemison High School Alumni of Jemison, Alabama plan to reunite for giant class reunion and fundraiser for National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Association.
Instead of having class reunions for separate years, JHS Alumni plan to have one reunion where all graduating classes can attend, anyone who ever attended the school as well as current and past faculty and staff.
The fundraiser for National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Association will take place for approximately an hour and will be held in honor of Jacob Alan Lee Jones, age 5, who lost his battle to Tay-Sachs in 2016. He was the beloved and handsome son of Justin and Erica Jones of Thorsby, Alabama. Some of the wonderful donations, so far, have been from the Beau Rivage Casino and Resort in Biloxi, Cahaba Brewing Company in Birmingham, children’s book from Julian Lennon, just to name a few. Any donations for our live auction/raffle are most welcome and needed.
This multi-generational gathering will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Timberline Golf Club in Calera, Alabama from 5 pm-midnight. The cost is $40.00 per person and must be prepaid by February 15, 2020.
