Mill Town Music Hall is excited to host musician Doyle Lawson and his band Quicksilver once again on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Opening the show will be The Kris Youmans Band. Mill Town Music Hall, focusing on family-friendly music and events, is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver have multiple Grammy, Dove, ICM, IBMA and SPBGMA Award nominations to their credit and have produced nearly 40 albums. In addition, Lawson is the reigning SPBGMA Mandolin Player of the Year, seven-time recipient of the IBMA Vocal Group of the Year award and was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in September 2012. The New York Times called Lawson a ‘mandolin virtuoso’ with ‘perfectly silken harmony.’
