LOS ANGELES – Dalmatia® – the sweet and savory fruit spreads from Croatia – earned the Superior Taste Award, a rigorous certification by the International Taste Institute, for outstanding product quality. Taste experts and top chefs judged the spreads in a blind sensory analysis on the visual, olfaction, taste and texture, scoring the spreads in the 84th percentile.

The review panel consists of over 200 of the world’s most prestigious chef association members from more than 20 countries, all with extensive tasting experience.
Each product is scored on a scale independent from competitors and evaluated according to consumer expectations of quality. The total score is a weighted average of the five International Hedonic Sensory Analysis criteria, and testing takes place is a controlled environment with standardized chinaware and strict serving protocols for consistency.
To remain ahead of increased demand resulting from this recognition, Dalmatia concurrently announced their debut on Instacart, the same-day grocery delivery and pick-up service in the U.S. and Canada. All 13 varieties of fig and fruit spreads will be available for purchase online, depending on store availability, allowing customers to buy product directly from their homes for immediate delivery.
