Cylus chosen from over 500 companies for the supply chain and logistics program, which will help build relationships with North America’s key industry players and rail operators
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Cylus, the global leader in rail and metro cybersecurity, today announced it has been selected to participate in the supply chain track of the prestigious Silicon Valley Plug and Play program.
Plug and Play connects the most innovative companies with the world’s largest corporations. Cylus is one of 22 companies chosen from among over 500 startups in the maritime, rail, road, and air segments to participate in the highly competitive supply chain management program.
Rail is becoming increasingly important to global freight, especially given the high costs and environmental toll of trucking and other modes of transport. Millions of tons of goods are transported via rail every day across nearly every sector of the economy. Through its participation in Plug and Play, Cylus aims to further cement its role as a key player in the industry, protecting railway systems, including Positive Train Control (PTC), with the highest cybersecurity standards.
“With the digital transformation of the rail industry comes a growing demand for innovation to overcome new challenges, such as cybersecurity,” said Amir Levintal, CEO and co-founder of Cylus. “This program allows us to continue to forge stronger bonds with the top rail operators across the U.S. and Canada and having direct access to Class 1 rail operators in order to showcase our solutions is a significant business advantage. As the category leader in rail cybersecurity, we look forward to leveraging this opportunity to highlight our solution for the operational networks, including onboard, signaling and PTC systems.”
