What’s an average day like for you?
[Bobby Blakdout] I wake up, drink a rockstar, chain smoke and get to it. I am always moving so there is no such thing as an "average" day in my life. One thing I can tell you is I Like Walking On Water And Fine Hand Rolled Cones.

Please explain your creative process
[Bobby Blakdout] I am fascinated by the complexity of the human mind , ancient arts and controversial philosophies.

Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?
[Bobby Blakdout] If you don't already know its better not to worry about it. Everyone has their own agenda. I feel that my fans and critics are better off listening to my music and deciphering it for themselves.

Do you collaborate with others? Do you have a specific process?
[Bobby Blakdout] I have done everything independently from the ground up and am very hands on so far. The only artist I had featured on one of my tracks was with Project Pat of Three 6 Mafia. With that said I recently Produced an EP under my Rap Alias "Gucci Savage" which features some new friends.

Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans
[Bobby Blakdout] I respond on Instagram with dope emojis.

What is your least favorite part of the music industry? Why?
[Bobby Blakdout] All you cap rappers... Really...

How often and for how long do you practice or get in the studio?
[Bobby Blakdout] I am in the studio basically everyday.

How do you balance your music with other obligations - mate, children, job?
[Bobby Blakdout] I have no kids and I never sleep plus I quit drinking so I am able to accomplish a lot whole maintaining a healthy balance. Also being a MMJ patient helps balance the stress.

What are your favorite venues?
[Bobby Blakdout] My home studio. (Laughs)

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
[Bobby Blakdout] You don't wanna be me. The climb to get here is too hard and you'll be eaten alive.

What’s the biggest problem you’ve had to overcome so far?
[Bobby Blakdout] Lame fake rappers sending fake releases to my label... BUT the funniest would have to be the time I had to jump a 14+ foot barbed wire fence to get my backpack so I could hurry to the airport. I luckily made the flight to the festival in Atlanta where I played main stage alongside artists like AFK • AU5 • AB THE THIEF • ATLIENS • CHVMSI • BADKLAAT • BAILO • BOOGIE T • BUKU • CRANKDAT • HXV • HYDRAULX • JPROPPA • LEAH CULVER • LUMBERJVCK • MEAUX GREEN • MANTIS • MIDNITE PANDA • PRISMO • TOMMY TRASH • TROLL PHACE • REKOIL • SLIINK • SUBTRONICS • SUNDAY SERVICE • VALENTINO KHAN • VICTOR NIGLIO & WE'RE NOT FRIENDS AS WELL AS MANY MORE TALENTED ARTISTS AND DJS.

When and why did you start your venture into the music industry?
[Bobby Blakdout] I DJed forever as a kid but I got heavy into production when my stepfather got sick. I needed to keep my mind distracted.

What was the first song you released?
[Bobby Blakdout] Go Look... (Laughs)

What are your fondest musical memories?
[Bobby Blakdout] Hearing 2006 Gucci Mane, "Hard to Kill"

How do you handle mistakes during a performance?
[Bobby Blakdout] I don't make mistakes and on the off chance I do I just play it off really well.

Do you get nervous before a performance or a competition?
[Bobby Blakdout] I get hyped. (Laughs)

What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
[Bobby Blakdout] Turn that nervous BS energy into hyped up go and get it energy.
