Orlando’s iconic entertainment district hosts Altered Identity: A Masquerade Ball FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
ORLANDO, Fla. (May 15, 2019) — The excitement doesn’t have to end once MegaCon is over! ICON Park, the walkable entertainment destination in the heart of Orlando’s International Drive, is hosting the 10th Annual Official MegaCon After Party—Altered Identity: A Geeky Masquerade.
In honor of the 10th anniversary, ICON Park is taking MegaCon’s after party to the next level! The exclusive after party in ICON Park’s courtyard will take place on Saturday, May 18, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. The party will happen rain or shine.
The event, hosted by Moshi Moshi Productions, will be a night filled with flashbacks and surprises—guests will be immersed in a sea of hidden faces, masked personalities and altered identities.
Attendees are encouraged to use their creativity to create a unique look for the event. Masquerade costumes, mashups and all cosplays are welcomed! Costumes are not required to participate.
The event will feature live performances, photo booths, stage games, body painting, celebrities, bars and more!
Live entertainment will be provided by DJ Elliot, DJ Evolv3 and DJ Daggett throughout the night. Set times include:
• DJ Elliot: 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
• Show Introduction: 10 p.m.
• DJ Daggett: 10 p.m. – 12 a.m.
• Cosplay Contest: 11:35 p.m.
• DJ Evolv3: 12 p.m. – 2 a.m.
The party doesn’t stop there—attendees will even have the chance to win prizes with several giveaways and contests including a $500 cash cosplay contest.
Tickets start $35 for general admission the week of the event and $40 at the door. A Deluxe Experience Package at ICON Park, valued at over $100, is also available for only $50 and includes a ticket to Altered Identity, The Wheel at ICON Park, one magic memories photo and one free drink at a designated ICON Park Bar. Tickets for MegaCon not required. Entrance to the party is on International Drive between Yardhouse and Uncle Julio’s. Free parking garage is located at 8375 International Drive, Orlando, 32819.
