CITIZENS’ HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES CHS ESPANOL LEARNING CENTER
[Fleming Island, Florida] — Citizens’ High School, the 2nd oldest Nationally Accredited Distance Education High School by the Distance Education Accrediting Council in Washington DC, is so excited to announce our new CHS Español Learning Resource Center featuring specific resources for our Spanish-speaking students worldwide! The CHS Español Learning Resource Center provides our academic courses translated into Spanish for students who need extra assistance with learning in the English Language. How the Learning Resource Center works is, students simply click a button inside of their online course and open a new tab to the Español Learning Center to get access to Spanish translations of their course content.
“The CHS Espanol Learning Resource Center allows us to continue my vision of providing low cost, high quality education to all students with a desire to learn.,” said Jim Etter, Principal and Philanthropic Educator. This is also just the beginning of our rollout of CHS courses for diverse populations worldwide for students who have the desire to learn but just don’t have the necessary resources to fulfill their dreams”
Dr Jim Etter, the Founder and former President of American Military University and American Public University has a strategic vison of providing access to high quality education for every person with a desire to learn to help improve their social and economic mobility. His famous quote of “making education take the shape of the needs and desires of the students and learners” is his model and educational belief. The Espanol Learning Resource Center is the first of many more pathways to come that takes the shapes of the needs of different demographics and populations.
“The CHS Español Learning Center is a place where our Spanish-speaking students can get the assistance they need to earn their High School Diploma. As an educator, my passion is to see students succeed. With our courses and resources translated into Spanish and having bilingual student service support just a phone call away, I am confident we will be able to serve our Spanish-speaking population and help them achieve their dreams”, said Cari Andreani, CHS Español Learning Center Director.
