Non Perishable Food Drive benefiting the Los Angeles LGBT Centers Senior Services Program FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Joe Lorenzo and Society Entertainment invite you to the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Annual “Give What You CAN” charity drive on Saturday December 1st, 2018 (12pm-4pm) at Flaming Saddles WEHO 8811 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
The Los Angeles LGBT Center is the oldest and largest of its kind in the world. Since 1969 the Center has cared for, championed, and celebrated LGBT individuals and families in Los Angeles and beyond.
Today the Center’s more than 600 employees provide services or more LGBT people than any other organization in the world, offering programs, services, and global advocacy that span four broad categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Education, Leadership and Advocacy.
“Give What You Can” is a non perishable food drive that fills the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s pantry, benefiting the Centers Senior Services program. Members of the program have access to necessary items through out the year.
Joe Lorenzo and his company Society Entertainment have been volunteering, part of fundraising steering committees, and various boards for 10 plus years. In 2013 Joe was awarded the State Farm Good Neighbor Award for his work with the LGBT Community through the Los Angeles LGBT Center, presented by Center CEO Lorri Jean, and State Farm Exec Brian Eubanks.
“I wont stop supporting my (LGBT) community, and urge you to do the same through the Los Angeles LGBT Center” said Joe Lorenzo in his acceptance speech. Years later Joe holds steadfast in that message. “Give What You Can is such a great event, that supports the Centers Senior Services program specifically. Please join me December 1st in West Hollywood, donate, and give back. We must take care of our community. Give What You Can does just that.” Says Joe Lorenzo
All persons who donate at the December 1st event 12pm-4pm are given a complimentary drink, and complimentary make your own perfume/lotion bar provided by Beauty Kitchen and Heather Marianna.
