Join Patient Power in Atlanta or Online for Multiple Myeloma Event. The event is free for patients and caregivers to attend. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and connect with others living with myeloma over complimentary breakfast and coffee.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
For the first time, Patient Power is proud to partner with Emory Winship Cancer Institute at the Hyatt Atlanta Midtown for a multiple myeloma town meeting on Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. All aspects of myeloma will be covered in an easy-to-follow “talk-show style” format during this free event. Myeloma experts Dr. Jonathan Kaufman, Dr. Ajay Nooka, and Charise Gleason from Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute and guest expert, Dr. Rafael Fonseca from the Mayo Clinic in Arizona will talk about the latest myeloma treatment news, genetic profiling and imaging, and how to get involved with developing research.
The event is free for patients and caregivers to attend. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and connect with others living with myeloma over complimentary breakfast and coffee.
Multiple myeloma patients and their loved ones need to be informed of key treatment and research news and what it means for them, particularly genetic testing and imaging. One past town meeting attendee said, “I have such a better understanding of my myeloma since being here. I now feel confident and informed as I go back home and continue to my life.” You can feel this way too by registering here: https://patientpower.info/mmsept23
