Ocala, FL – August 27, 2018– Ocala-based Neighborhood Storage, which operates 25 self-storage facilities throughout Marion County, has announced plans to add 200,000 square feet of rentable space to its existing footprint through the construction of four new ground -up self-storage facilities and the expansion of six existing facilities.
New facilities are planned for the SW 200 corridor (two sites), Silver Spring Shores at the intersection of Emerald Road and Maricamp Road, and within the community of Marion Oaks on Marion Oaks Boulevard. Once complete, these sites will include an average of 45,000 square feet of both temperature and non-temperature-controlled units, coded keypad access, 24-hour video recording, and a free truck rental with move-in.
Several Neighborhood Storage locations will be expanding their footprint to offer additional space to the Ocala/Marion County community. These include: 310 NE 25th Avenue, Ocala, FL, 6785 SW Hwy 200, Ocala, FL, 3350 W Hwy 326, Ocala, FL, 2520 NE Jacksonville Road, Ocala, FL, 4500 W Hwy 40, Ocala, FL, and 4709 SE 102nd Place, Belleview, FL.
In all, these expansions total nearly 60,000 square feet of additional rentable space.
Over the past year, Neighborhood Storage has increased its footprint in the Ocala/Marion County market by over 100,000 square feet.
