BREMEN, Ga. (March 5, 2018) – Mill Town Music Hall welcomes back Grammy-nominated bluegrass group, The Isaacs and southern gospel group, The Diplomats on Saturday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. EST. Concert goers will be entertained by two award-winning musical groups, as they sing from their music collections, spreading the message of hope and faith through song. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome, family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
The Isaacs bring a unique style of tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation. Their album, The Living Years, was nominated for Bluegrass Album of the Year at the Dove Awards, and they have performed all over the world, including the CMA Fan Fest, Carnegie Hall and the Dove Awards show. The group has also performed for and been nominated by the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) and for the NQC (National Quartet Convention) Awards, as well as by the ICMA Awards (Inspirational Christian Country). The Issacs frequently appear on other artists’ recordings, including Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley and Trace Adkins.
The Diplomats, based out of Carrollton, have been voted “Top Ten Mixed Group” by Singing News Fan Awards in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014. Led by Jimmy Pearson and wife, Rita, the southern gospel group is known for their upbeat and energetic style. A number of talented performers have joined them on tour through the years, including their son and bandleader Corey Pearson.
