NannyPay2 Software Eases Tax and Payroll Concerns for Employers of Nannies and Other Domestic Employees FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
COLLEGEVILLE, PA: Essentia Software Corp., a leader in the domestic payroll software market for over two decades, has announced that its NannyPay2 software for household employers has been updated to comply with the new withholding tables issued by the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in order to implement the tax cuts and other provisions of the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The new withholding tables were released in January,2018, and are required to be used by all employers as of February 15, 2018.

Dougher, a CEO of Essentia Software and in charge of business development, stated that he was particularly pleased that the new withholding tables were designed to work with the existing Forms W-4 that domestic employees already have on file, and that this will minimize the burden of these changes on both employers and employees. “The new tax tables should provide an increase in tax home pay to most wage earners, which is of particular benefit to nannies and other domestic employees who typically are paid at the lower end of the wage scale”, stated Mr. Dougher. “Customers are encouraged to install this free update promptly.”
