ICP DAS USA introduces its newest product to the WISE (Web Inside, Smart Engine) Data Acquisition Controller. All WISE (Web Inside, Smart Engine) are Modbus TCP based data acquisition controllers that allow for remote monitoring and logic control through a web interface. The WISE Data Acquisition Controllers trigger outputs based on inputs, send email alarms and can show the status through a web page.
The WISE-5231 is simple to use and specifically designed to allow easy integration with I/O modules and sensors on the field side; supporting various IoT protocols and easy integration with SCADA/MIS/MES/IT/Network Management systems for real-time transfer of I/O information. The WISE-5231 offers reliable real-time I/O logic control and data logger functions. The WISE-5231 is equipped with a user-friendly web site-interface that allows for IF-THEN-ELSE control logic programming on controllers, eliminating the need for custom hard-code programming.
A plethora of support in I/O functions are provided by the WISE-5231 making it very flexibile in terms of connectivity: DCON I/O modules, Rodbus RTU slave modules, Modbus TCP slave modules, and XV-boards. With CGI command functions built-in, you can configure devices such as IP cameras to take certain actions (such as begin or stop recording operations) using IF-THEN-ELSE logic rules. The WISE-5231 becomes the perfect concentrator of sensor and I/O modules for the IoT age in this regard.
