Dallas, TX -- Brant Brown, chief financial officer (CFO) and chief operating officer (COO) of Westmount Realty Capital, LLC was recently appointed to the board of directors for The Real Estate Council (TREC), an organization aimed at professional development and community enrichment for people in the commercial real estate sector. As a board member, Brown will help shape the direction of TREC and the real estate community in Dallas.

Brown also serves on the board of the SMU-Cox Folsom Institute for Real Estate and the Association for Corporate Growth, Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter (ACG DFW). He has been actively involved with the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, Urban Land Institute, NAIOP and Financial Executives International. Brown is a CPA and received his MBA from SMU Cox School of Business.
