Ottawa, Illinois – Larry Fraze, JD, CPA, a disabled veteran and owner of Fraze and Company, LLC, a Certified Public Accounting firm in North-Central Illinois, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization, and operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Mr. Fraze, a recognized leader in the small-business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.
“As small-business owners, my clients and I have to work within laws and regulations that are created in Washington D.C., and our State capital, often times by people who have never owned a small business and don’t recognize the impact those laws and regulations have.” stated Mr. Fraze. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to take the concerns of my clients to the people that need to hear it most: Congress and our State legislature.”
After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Fraze spent twenty years in public accounting and industry. He earned his CPA and JD while working full time and raising a family. Mr. Fraze is an honorably discharged veteran who served in Desert Storm. Mr. Fraze’s business, Fraze and Company, LLC is a CPA firm located in Ottawa, Illinois.
Mr. Fraze joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of his efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs and how the current COVID-19 pandemic will impact small business. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business has a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.
