A native of Ashland, Mass., Blue co-founded Focus Infomatics, a medical transcription company that pioneered voice recognition software for the healthcare market. Focus Infomatics, which launched in 2000, was later acquired by Nuance Communications, where Blue served as senior vice president of sales and operations. He also founded or served in executive positions for Focus EduVation, VideoNitch and Castle Connolly Private Health Partners. Blue earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in business administration from Suffolk University.
