WHAT: On Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) is hostingThe Boston Globe’s Celtics beat writer Adam Himmelsbach for its first-ever class on sports journalism.
After graduating from Syracuse University, Himmelsbach spent two years as a columnist at Louisville Courier-Journal and six years as a Washington-based contributor for The New York Times before joining The Boston Globe in 2015.
From 6:30PM to 8:30PM, Adam will share key moments in his career and interesting anecdotes from his experience covering everything from college teams to one of the NBA’s most storied franchises. In addition to learning unique writing tips, the class will get will get an insider’s insight on the top ways to succeed in this competitive industry. Space is limited!
