Ontario’s largest theatre festival, Toronto Fringe Festival and Driftscape, a Toronto based tech start-up announce their partnership. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Through this partnership, Toronto Fringe will display interactive content via the Driftscape mobile app, including the #StartedAtTheFringe Audio Tour, presented by Toronto Fringe and hosted by Laura Mullin and Chris Tolley of CBC's PlayME Podcast.
Available starting today, you’ll be able to find the #StartedAtTheFringe audio tour, as well as key Fringe venues on the Driftscape App. Did you know that the Randolph Theatre is a Gothic revival building and a landmark, not only in the history of Toronto but also the heritage of theatre in Canada? Its reputation as a roadhouse for original Canadian productions is a testament to a legacy of innovation and opportunity that continues to this day. Explore spots like this and learn more about Fringe’s history of championing great theatre grassroots level with the Driftscape app from July 3 rd to 14 th. Visitors can download the free app, to experience the Fringe audio tour, explore in augmented reality, and get notified when there is something interesting nearby. You’ll also find POSTSCRIPT, the Toronto Fringe Festival’s pop-up patio located in the hockey rink at 275 Bathurst Street (at Dundas), on the Driftscape app.
