2016-12-19 Print

Barnett to sing her hits, as well as, several hit songs from Patsy Cline on Sat., Jan. 14.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mill Town Music Hall is excited to host the talented Mandy Barnett on Saturday, January 14, at 7:30 pm EST. Barnett’s unique music style includes a mixture of classic country, pop crooning of iconic singers and enduring sounds. While learning a song, she explores the emotional intricacies of the content, allowing her to give a full-bodied vocal performance. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome, family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).

Barnett grew up in Crossville, Tennessee. She starred as Patsy Cline in the show Always…Patsy Cline at the famous Ryman Auditorium, during her teenage years. Her first album entitled Mandy Barnett, received high praise from several publications. Mandy produced her next album, I’ve Got a Right To Cry, which became a success and received rave reviews from top media, such as People and Newsweek. Rolling Stone labeled it the top country album of 1999. Along with her albums, Barnett has been featured on several movie soundtracks. In June 2010, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Rounder Records teamed up to release Barnett’s Christmas album, Winter Wonderland. The following year, Mandy brought Always…Patsy Cline back to the stage and released her third album, Sweet Dreams. Her latest album, I Can’t Stop Loving You: The Songs of Don Gibson is a salute the legendary singer, who Mandy befriended before his passing in 2003.
