The Chauncey F. Lufkin III Foundation, Donor Highlights from Tidal X 1015 Concert to Benefit Robin Hood and Other Not-For-Profit Organizations and Schools.
NEW YORK, NY –– The Chauncey F. Lufkin III Foundation was well represented at the Tidal X Benefit Concert at the Barclays Center on Saturday October 15, 2016. The Foundation was among many Robin Hood donors at the once-in-a-lifetime benefit concert featuring Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Nikki Minaj, Ms Lauryn Hill, Common, Lil Wayne, Tip, Robin Thicke, Blood Orange, Danielle Bradbery and other top artists. Attending on behalf of the Foundation were Cara Familet, Foundation Director and Michael Chen, its Chief Financial Officer.
The performers generously elected to donate half of the proceeds from ticket sales and merchandise to Robin Hood while the other half will be split among other not-for-profit organizations and schools.
Tidal, the music streaming service owned by Beyonce, Jay Z and other artists, has secured sponsors to cover the cost of the event, so 100 percent of the evening’s proceeds will be put to good use.
