iPhone users now have free access to Lonely Planet’s top picks for five cities across Europe and the USA; Barcelona, Rome, London, Paris and New York City. These “Best of” city guide apps offer Lonely Planet’s top 10 choices for each city in specific categories. The categories featured include top 10s for eating, drinking and nightlife, sights, entertainment, and shopping.
These free “Best of” city guide apps are easily downloaded from within the Lonely Planet Travel Guides App which is available via iTunes and the iPhone App store. Once downloaded, users can open the app, tap the “Store” button, and tap “Free Stuff ”to access the 5 “Best of” city guide apps.
