The October calendar at Empire City Casino is highlighted by Columbus Day and Halloween holiday promotions, a $100,000 'Boo-Ndles of Cash' giveaway, comedy nights and Juvenile Diabetes fundraising Walk.

Empire City Casino celebrates its Sixth Anniversary with a calendar of promotions that will rock October all month long. A snazzy Cubic Zirconia Horseshoe Necklace Giveaway to the first 10,000 patrons on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8, and the Halloween 80’s Costume Contest ($500 first prize) on Wednesday, October 31, bookend the docket also highlighted by the $100,000 “Boo-ndles of Cash Giveaway” on Monday, October 29.
Empire City will also host the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk on Sunday morning, October 14, with registration trackside at 9:00 AM. The theme this year is Wild, Wild Westchester and is set to be bigger than ever. The official Sixth Anniversary date is Saturday, October 27, and all patrons swiping their Empire Club card at any promotions kiosk eligible to receive $6 in free play.
Columbus Day will provide smooth sailing to a promotions kiosk, when the first 10,000 Empire Club Members to visit receive a coupon for the free Empire City cubic Zirconia horseshoe necklace (redeemable at the promotions table located in Entertainment Lounge; one per Club Member). Elite Members will receive the Swarovski crystal horseshoe necklace.
Casino-goers will have their eyes on a piece of the $100,000 in cash prizes on October 29 during the 5:00-9:30 PM Boo-ndles of Cash promotion. Empire Club Members receive a virtual entry for every 100 Empire Points earned from October 1 through October 29 at 9:25 PM. On the 29th beginning at 5:00 PM, Club Members will be called every 30 minutes for a chance to win $10,000.
On Halloween, Empire City Casino will be having an 80’s Themed costume contest. Wear your best 80’s costume and be in the Entertainment lounge to enter from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Winners are chosen at 8pm. First place will receive $500. Second place will receive $250 and third place will receive $100. America’s 80’s tribute band, The Ronald Reagans, will be heating up the stage directly following the competition.
Free Gift Fridays continue in October with the first 7,000 Empire Club Members to earn five points from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM receiving a gift on October 5, 12, 19 and 26, while supplies last.
Comedy Nights provide the laughs in the Good Time Room on Wednesdays October 10 and 24, show time is at 8:00 PM. Admission is $5 for Empire Club members, $15 for non-members, and Elite members are admitted free. All attendees will receive a free drink ticket.
