In response to growing demand from accounting professionals in the U.K., Intuit is launching QuickBooks Accountant Edition 2013, the first time it has offered the Accountant Edition of its popular QuickBooks software in the U.K.

QuickBooks Accountant Edition is Intuit’s bookkeeping, write-up and financial reporting solution for accounting professionals supporting multiple QuickBooks clients.
The 2013 version provides unique tools to help accountants and bookkeepers be more productive and work more efficiently so they can better collaborate with their clients and ultimately increase profitability. The software goes on sale in the U.K. on Sept. 10.

“While QuickBooks has always been popular with accountants and bookkeepers in the UK supporting small business clients, this is the first time we have offered the Accountant Edition. Accountant Centre: Streamlines workflow by providing one click access to the tools you use most.
Batch Enter Transactions: Quickly and easily enter groups of transactions, or paste and save more than 1,000 transactions from Excel into QuickBooks.
QuickBooks Statement Writer: Save time by editing and formatting custom financial statements.
Send General Journal Entries: Email journal entries to clients directly from QuickBooks, and clients simply “click” to import entries automatically from an email attachment.
File Manager: Manage and store passwords, organize files and automatically open files with the right version to work faster and easier with client’s QuickBooks files.
