Berlin, 07. September 2012 – Yesterday marked the 4th annual Vogue Fashion’s Night Out (VFNO) and the kick off to New York Fashion Week. PINSTYLE was on location in Berlin and London to for the “Global Celebration of Fashion.”
Vogue founded the Fashion’s Night Out in 2009 in order to promote fashion during times of economic hardship. Since then, the event has grown exponentially with events taking place around the world. The premise for the event is simple: stores stay open until midnight with special offers and products, shows and charity events running simultaneously. This year’s VFNO took place in 19 countries as boutiques and department stores alike opened their doors for extended shopping hours.
Many celebrities, designers and fashion editors were amongst attendees.
PINSTYLE was on location in Berlin and London in order to bring the PINSTYLE community coverage from two of the world’s fashion capitals. As PINSTYLE is headquartered in Berlin, our team had the chance to interview participants including Vogue Germany’s editor-in-chief, Christine Arp.
