Franchisee Nourah Al-Rossais recognized for dedication, inspiration

WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Edible Arrangements founder and CEO Tariq Farid recently honored Riyadh entrepreneur Nourah Al-Rossais as the “International Franchisee of the Year” at the franchise’s 7th International Convention in Orlando, Fla.
“As soon as I met her, I knew she was the perfect person to introduce Saudi Arabia to Edible Arrangements,” Farid told the more than 700 franchisees, managers and vendors attending the convention. “I was in awe the first time I went into her stores. She is such a perfectionist, you can tell she wants each of them to be amazing. She inspires all of us to be better.”
Al-Rossais, who opened her first location in 2009, now has 11 franchises located in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Al Majmah’ah and Al Dammam.
“Edible Arrangements is like my family and I am very honored,” said Al-Rossais. “This award is possible because I have such an amazing and supportive family and such a great staff in my stores. It can be tough introducing a new concept to an entire country. But we did it, and I can't wait to get back and open more!”
