Doeren Mayhew Named Among Top 100, ‘Best of the Best’ By INSIDE Public Accounting

Doeren Mayhew, a Michigan-based certified public accounting and consulting firm with locations in Troy and Houston, was recently ranked among the nation’s largest and best-managed accounting, tax and business consulting firms by INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA).
Based on submissions from every major accounting firm across the nation, Doeren Mayhew was recognized as one of the 50 “Best of the Best” firms for 2012. Doeren Mayhew has received this distinguished recognition 17 of the 19 years the list has been published – a recognition no other Michigan-based accounting firm has ever received.
In addition, Doeren Mayhew ranked 71, up from 73 in 2011, in terms of annual net revenue size in the publication’s “2012 IPA 100 Report” on the largest firms in the nation.
For more than 20 years, IPA publisher The Platt Group has created the IPA 100 to serve as a comprehensive, current snapshot of the financial and operational health of the nation’s largest accounting firms. According to this year’s report, mergers are still a dominating growth factor in the market, but organic growth is making a comeback, up to 5.6 percent, compared to 1 percent in 2011.
To honor those firms with stellar management performance, IPA also published its 19th “Best of the Best” list. Based on more than 50 management and operational metrics, the top 50 firms received this honor for their well-managed and well-executed examples of how to succeed in the industry.
