Sanders Thaler Viola & Katz, LLP has announced that Elizabeth Oberg has joined the firm as its Senior Accountant.

JERICHO, NY — Sanders Thaler Viola & Katz, LLP has announced that Elizabeth Oberg has joined the firm as its Senior Accountant. In her new position, she will be responsible for her clients’ corporate, partnership and individual tax returns as well as tax planning.
Before joining Sanders Thaler Viola & Katz, LLP, Ms. Oberg worked at accounting firms in which her primary focus was on rental real estate and Common Interest Realty Associations, which includes cooperatives, condominiums, and homeowners’ associations. In addition to real estate, she also served clients in the not-for-profit industry, retail services, bankruptcy, and medical device companies, as well as clients in the developmental stages. She performed audits, including 401(k) audits, reviews and compilations and was responsible for financial statements and assisting clients with Chief Financial Officer functions.
In 2010, Ms. Oberg completed her Certified Public Accountant certification and is currently studying for her Certified Fraud Examination. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
