The Boston Center for Adult Education Continues Popular Theater Series with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company

WHAT: The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) is continuing its popular “Behind the Curtain” series with an exclusive backstage tour of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s outdoor theater on the Boston Common followed by VIP tickets to a performance of Coriolanus. The series, which has already gone inside the Boston Ballet’s performance of Romeo and Juliet and the Boston Opera House’s production of South Pacific, is aimed at providing students with a one-of a-kind look inside Boston’s historic theaters and the world-class performances that take place there.
On Friday, July 27th, 2012 from 6:30PM-10:00PM, BCAE students will enjoy the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s performance of Coriolanus, a powerful and timeless drama showing a symbolic connection between the governed and the governors. Shakespeare’s portrayal of government, politics, power, and corruption are what differentiates this play from his others and will be sure to capture the audience with the strong connection to politics today. The students of the BCAE will get a backstage tour of the outdoor stage, access to an exclusive pre-show talk with the cast and crew of Coriolanus and exclusive VIP seating for only $32.00!
