Producer's and deejays battle it out for the title of America's Next Top Music Producer

July 24, 2012 (New York, New York) America’s Next Top Music Producer will be airing live from New York City at 7 pm on Monday July 30, 2012, at the legendary event space S.O.B.’s for the ‘Bring That Beat Back 1990s’ episode.
Both up and coming and well known producers will compete for the title of America’s Next Top Music Producer by supplying beats for this episode’s theme being the 1990s, a golden era of hip hop. With returning host Cadillac D and music provided by Hot 97’s own DJ SPYNFO, this contest will be an epic battle of the beats. Producers and hip hop veterans Rich ‘Younglord’ Frierson and Amadeus have been confirmed as judges and will use their combined decades of hit making to determine who will be America’s Next Top Music Producer. In addition to producers, singers, songwriters and musicians are encouraged to take part in the competition, creating for the ultimate music mash up to get the crowd hyped.
Previous episodes of America’s Next Top Music Producer have been taped in both Los Angeles and New York City. The most recent contest held at Drom on the Lower East Side was entitled ‘Ready to Die for Beats’ where contestants were asked to submit a beat influenced by the late rapper, The Notorious B.I.G. It was a success and audience members were on their feet dancing to the grooves inspired by the late great artist. With each episode gaining even more popularity and referencing numerous acts of such a notable decade, America’s Next Top Music Producer’s ‘Bring That Beat Back 1990s’ episode on July 30, 2012 at New York City’s S.O.B’s is sure to be a hit.

ABOUT America’s Next Top Music Producer
Launched in 2009 and created by Cory Lee, America’s Next Top Music Producer is a mash up/remix competition where music producers compete against each other on stage in front of a studio audience. With each event, emerging music producers compete at sampling and creating beats from musical genres we’ve all come to love; from 1980s pop, to video game music, to the theme music of popular sitcoms. The end result is an incredibly creative new piece of music. Past ANTMP attendees and guests have included Mister Cee, Buda Da Future, Heatmakerz, DJ Enuff and numerous notable industry insiders.
Cory Lee is the creator of ANTMP and was formerly the Executive Producer of Just Beats DVD which created content for deejays and music producers. A native New Yorker, Lee conceptualizes each episode of ANTMP in addition to overseeing the original content for both episodes as well as ANTMP’s website.
DJ SPYNFO is a deejay on NYC’s Hot 97 radio station, the co-creator of Mic Check Wednesdays a prominent talent showcase. Having been featured on BET’s Rap City, DJ SPYNFO has performed for crowds both nationally and internationally and is a member of the elite DJ Crew, The Pitbulls.
