Northern Facilities, a premium adult care consortium located in the New York metropolitan area, is celebrating the 100th birthdays of 10 of the patients living in its Northern Riverview Center. “It’s wonderful to see that we currently host 10 residents over the age of 100 in our Northern Riverview facility – it brings joy to their peers, to the devoted staff members who care for them, and to our NYC nursing home community at large. Very recently, we celebrated the 100th birthday of one of our residents, and her family asked us if we could provide them with a room to hold a family party. The celebratory occasion was attended not only by the patient’s extended family– children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren – but also by many of our staffers and patients, and we ended up having to host the party in a huge space. From a single building in 1981, Northern Facilities has expanded to include assisted living centers, several skilled nursing facilities, home care options, and a host of community outreach programs.
