Interactive Networking Platform to Feature Presentations by Aben Kovoor from Microsoft Middle East and Khalid Muasher of Bitdefender

Dubai-UAE: 08 July, 2012 - Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) in conjunction with Optimus Technology and Telecommunications announced the inaugural Silicon Oasis TechForum networking event, which will offer a platform for professionals, experts, academics and students to interact for building capacity in technology entrepreneurship and innovation across Dubai.
The event is scheduled to be held on 10 July from 7:00pm onwards at DSO-based Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai. In addition to featuring Aben Kovoor of Microsoft Middle East who will speak on ‘Interesting New Trends’, the platform will host Khalid Muasher of Bitdefender for sharing his insights on ‘Social Engineering and Digital Identity’.

Silicon Oasis TechForum is a collaborative initiative of DSOA and Optimus Technology and Telecom and is additionally backed by Silicon Oasis Founders (SOF), a technology incubation centre wholly owned by Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), and Silicon Oasis Ventures (SOV).
The Forum will feature monthly community gatherings that host industry specialists who will offer easy to understand presentations on topical industry subjects to educate and stimulate discussion. Silicon Oasis TechForum is working closely with leaders in the tech-space, academia as well as technology and business communities such as incubators to host joint activities.
