FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
(Boston, MA) – This year, La Fête Nationale, the national celebration, is going international once again at The Beehive, in Boston MA. On Thursday, July 12, 2012, the Beehive will start the Bastille Day celebrations two days early. From 5:30PM until 1:30AM, this award-winning restaurant, live music venue and living art gallery will commemorate the storming of the Bastille with dinner, libations and, of course, a French flair of live Bastille street music such as chanson, bal musette, Gypsy swing and la marsigliese. From 6:30PM-8:30PM, Les Voleurs De Swing, “the Swing Thieves,” a gypsy-jazz band are set to kick off the night, followed closely by the “magnifique” Le Bon Ton from 9:00PM-1:30AM. The event will begin at 5:30PM, so be ready to “storm the gates” of the Beehive for the fifth consecutive year and to celebrate until morning.
Come for the music and for the food. In addition to the regular menu, The Beehive will be serving Bastille Day specials including chilled artichoke soup, warm goat cheese & arugula salad, sole meuniere and Toulouse sausage frites sandwich. For the guests who want to add even more festivity to their night, The Beehive’s bar features the largest selection of champagne in New England.
