Alternative rockers The Smashing Pumpkins will be playing live at Manila's Smart Araneta Coliseum on August 7th 2012.

The Smashing Pumpkins, one of the biggest names in alternative rock music, will be playing a show in Manila on August 7th 2012.
Tickets for the Smart Araneta Coliseum gig are available now for between 555 and 4,555 pesos (£8.40 and £69.30), with the performance set to get underway at 18:00 local time.
Formed by frontman Billy Corgan and guitarist James Iha in 1988, the band achieved major success in the 1990s with classic albums such as Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, prior to a break-up in 2000.
However, the band reconvened with a new line-up in 2005 and have become big news once again, with their latest record Oceania having been released recently to positive reviews.
At their Manila show, The Smashing Pumpkins will thrill audiences with the unique, cutting-edge brand of music that has seen them sell more than 30 million records and claim multiple Grammy awards.
The Smart Araneta Coliseum venue, also known as the Big Dome, is located in the Quezon City region and seats more than 16,000 people.
