The Stone Roses are to play their first ever Hong Kong gig on July 24th 2012 as part of their high-profile global comeback tour.

Hong Kong audiences will be able to see iconic British band The Stone Roses live for the first time ever on July 24th 2012.
Band members Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary Mounfield and Alan Wren will be performing at AsiaWorld-Arena as part of a global tour that marks the iconic act's long-awaited comeback.
The Stone Roses released their self-titled debut album in 1989 and achieved massive critical and commercial success, becoming one of the pioneers of the "Madchester" music scene before splitting in 1996.
Their 2011 announcement that they would reunite for a world tour was met with hysteria among their many dedicated fans, with their first two shows in the UK selling 150,000 tickets only 14 minutes after going on sale.
Fans can purchase tickets online now for between HK$388 and HK$988 (£32.30 and £82.20), with demand guaranteed to be sky-high.
