More and more, Yaskawa have been providing innovative, robust robotic based solutions for industrial application around the world. The Yaskawa Motoman has continued to provide innovation in a range of applications such as welding, palletising, packaging, assembly, material cutting and handling and machine tending.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yaskawa have been constantly providing advanced robot and control technology solutions, guiding the way for innovation in the modern automation industry. With over 200,000 Motoman robots installed worldwide, the Motoman robots can be found in virtually every industry today. From general purpose applications, to specific custom built robotic applications, the Motoman robots constantly provide unmatched performance.
The Motoman SDA series of robots are able to create, design, manipulate and build items with complete precision and finesse. Incorporating an overall sense of versatility and human like capabilities to machine automation, the Motoman robots are unmatched in robotic automation.
The Motoman SDA series is capable of sorting out items and packages, reading barcodes and correctly placing items into their respective allocated area with complete control. Put to the test, the Motoman robot can compete with even the most experienced of human sorters.
Regarded as the pinnacle of articulated arm performance, the Motoman robots are rapidly delivering increased productivity and a faster return on investment for many industries in the field of automation.
The Motoman SDA Series
This high payload robot is capable of handling heavy objects of up to 20 kg per arm. (The total load for dual-arm robot is: 40 kg)
The two arms of the Motoman SDA series each have 7 axes and a rotary axis at the waist, which greatly increases their ability to maneuver and manipulate objects.
The grippers used on the robots can be customised and simplified for holding large objects, as the two arms can hold and carry objects respectively.
The Motoman dual arms have changed over the years. The new range of SDA robots are more streamlined, flexible and human like in their movements compared to earlier Yaskawa two arm models.
The SDA robot series can work together or separately and are well suited for assembly, machine tending and material handling applications. The overall, design allows each robot to have maximum reach and payload flexibility.
The Motoman SDA series provides an innovation in machine automation and design, to provide cost effective solutions to deal with even the most demanding of automation environments. The Motoman robots offer custom solutions to meet the unique automation needs of modern industry.
The Motoman SDA series not only saves on valuable time by reducing the need for additional staff or operators, but also ensures production lines are more efficient with complete quality control and precision.
