One of the biggest acts in heavy metal will be performing in Manila this July when Megadeth unleash their iconic brand of hard-edged rock on local audiences.
The music legends will play at the World Trade Center in Pasay on July 29th 2012, with organisers promising a "symphony of destruction" from the multimillion-selling rockers.
Megadeth were founded in 1983 and are known as one of the "Big Four" bands who popularised the thrash metal genre, alongside Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax.
Over the course of a career spanning almost three decades, the band have sold more than 30 million albums, earning ten Grammy nominations and seeing five consecutive records achieving platinum or multi-platinum status in the US.
Tickets are priced in two bands, with the standard Mega Golden Deth tickets costing 2,930 pesos (£44.30) and the deluxe Mega Platinum Deth passes available for 4,710 pesos.
The show will be held in Hall D of the World Trade Center venue, with gates opening at 18:00 local time.
