Chicago, Illinois - Executives at the Van Henkelum Funeral Home Crestwood today announced the company is now offering an “Economy Plan” which is set-up to help families save money on funeral expenses. The company’s services can be customized to be simple or elaborate or to adjust to specific religious requirements.

The “Economy Plan” includes all funeral home Palosprofessional services and arrangements such as embalming and body carepreparation, visitation at the facility for three hours and a hearse drive to the cemetery or crematory. Family members can also request one premium floral arrangement and use of all funeral home facilities including coffee service and kitchen area.

The plan’s casket is a beautiful 20 gauge Clair steel casketwhich is provided by Hoffman Burial Supplies. The casket comes in four colors and it’s one of the most popular models the funeral home Alsip company offers. Family members also receive professional assistance with insurance, social security, veteran’s benefits and public aid if it’s necessary to help the family better deal with the grieving process.
The loss of a loved one is never an easy adjustment which is why the staff at the Van Henkelum Funeral Home provides any help they can. In fact, the staff members will guide the family every step of the way in creating a meaningful ceremony to honor the life and memory of a loved one.

The company also offers a “Funeral Planning” service which permits clients to design their own funeral before they pass away. There are two very important parts to designing a nice funeral. First, a staff member will ask the client how they wish to celebrate and honor their life. Next they address the issue of handling the physical remains and add the final touches to ensure everything is followed according to the client’s wishes.

About
The history of the Van Henkelum Family in Funeral Service began with the compassion and commitment of the Coady-Walsh Family in the late 1890′s. They successfully and respectfully owned and operated Walsh Funeral Home located at 99th and Troop Streets in the southwest side of Chicago through the 1960′s. Maxine Coady Walsh was the last in the family to operate this funeral home. After she suffered a broken hip, she decided to sell the funeral home and retire to Arizona. She passed away in 1988.
