The tour seeks to balance out the disparity in information and access to funding for female entrepreneurs and women in business. Cultivating Excellence desires women to be inspired and motivated to take positive action in controlling their lives to achieve maximum personal, financial and professional success for families and community. State Farm and Positive Community sponsors the event, which is also sponsored in part by Women of Excellence, Strength, & Tenacity and L.W.L., LLC.
“We are proud to kick off this five-city tour with the elected officials, business leaders and religious leaders to assist female entrepreneurs in empowering themselves and to even the playing field so that our lives can be better and our world includes us as valuable and viable variables in the global equation,” Ms. Stickney said. “I am grateful to be supported by Mayor Smith, Michelle Hare of State Farm, Essex County College administrative staff and Pastor Smith of the Eastern Bible Institute for this important weekend event.”
