Gourmet Bakery And Other Prominent Brands To Offer Workshops And Activities At The Ultimate Family Getaway

LOS ANGELES – Isabella’s Cookie Company, a producer of freshly baked treats, is proud to join Crafting Community, a weekend getaway designed to bring families closer together through creativity. An event put on by Kimmel Kids and the Splendid brand hosted by Ace Hotel & Swim Club, the retreat is designed to shift gears from the hectic hustle of the city life, offering an easy weekend of oasis, community and imagination including interactive workshops from Isabella’s Cookie Company.

On Friday night, Isabella’s Cookie Company will provide handmade graham crackers and chocolates for fireside s’mores, and the delicious marshmallows will be provided by Plush Puffs. On Saturday, the “Cookie Capers” workshop will allow children to play with edible play dough made from cookie dough to create their own unique cookie lollipops. Kids will also be able to select their favorite candy bars to bake with cookie dough. Also, Milk + Bookies, a non-profit that provides donated books to children in need, will host storytelling under the stars which will be accompanied by the official Milk + Bookies Cookie from Isabella’s Cookie Company.

During this memorable weekend, Los Angeles-based artist Karen Kimmel and her talented colleagues will guide participants through an inspiring array of fun and interactive workshops, with a focus on reusing and repurposing natural materials in art. The retreat will also include a healthy amount of recreation and relaxation. Melding quiet time with quality time, Tait Chatmon and Stacy Bernstein of Kid Concierge will organize community-oriented activities including morning yoga, and family movie night, all destined to foster rich relationships among the entire group.

Crafting Community will take place at the Ace Hotel located at 701 East Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92264 from April 27th through April 29th.
