The head of Vokant Management Oy, Jorma Mononen, appoints a successor while remaining the Chairman of Board

Jorma Mononen has resigned as the CEO of Vokant Management Oy, the company owning the two base layer garment brands of Guahoo® and Laplandic®. Mr. Mononen's decision to retire was taken to spend more time with his family and have more time for sports and hobbies. Vokant is proud to announce the appointment of Seppo Laaksonen as the new head of Vokant Management Oy. Jorma remains with the company as a Chairman of Board of Directors
Mr. Mononen had been holding the post since 1998 and had managed to achieve impressive financial results during his tenure. The brands were launched outside Finland and currently Guahoo® garments are being sold in many countries of Europe and Asia. A constantly developing range of products and a growing number of partners in many countries has improved the brands’ performance in the niche market of sports, fishing and hunting equipment as well as underwear for daily activities. The unique corporate marketing policy is being provided in all countries of distribution.
Vokant Management Oy was founded in 1998 and started its commercial activity with exporting thermals from the USA. In 2002, the company created a new brand of thermals called Guahoo® which became popular among active people fond of sport, tourism and travelling. Later the company expanded the range of thermals and found its place in the market of fishing and hunting equipment, underwear for everyday wear and also in the segment of pharmaceutics. |
