The latest statistics reveal a sharp rise in bookings for car hire around the 2012 Olympic Games.
The latest numbers show that four times as many people have reserved UK car hire between 20 July and 12 August 2012 compared with the same period last year, demonstrating a demand for car hire around the Olympics. 40% of people will collect their rental car from one of Gatwick or Heathrow airports to give themselves easy access to London for Games' events.
July 20 and 21 are the most popular dates as people look to take part in the fun around the opening ceremony on July 27.
