A new production of Charles Morey's stage adaptation of Bram Stoker's classic vampire tale Dracula will be coming to Singapore this May.

Bram Stoker's Dracula, one of the most iconic horror tales of all time, will be brought to life in a forthcoming theatrical production by Singapore's Stage Club this May.
The company has put together a new version of Charles Morey's stage adaptation of the classic vampire story, which will be performed at the DBS Arts Centre from May 23rd to 26th.
Originally written in 1897, this timeless tale of good and evil follows young solicitor Jonathan Harker as he encounters the ancient bloodsucker Count Dracula and the renowned vampire slayer Dr Abraham Van Helsing.
Morey's adaptation is reputed for its strong faithfulness to the original text and was originally performed in the US in 1990.
Bram Stoker's Dracula runs for approximately two hours and 30 minutes plus a 15-minute interval, while performances will be held at 19:30 local time each evening, with a 14:30 matinee show on the Saturday.
Tickets for the opening night on Wednesday cost S$32 (£16.10), with the remainder of the performances priced at S$37 each.
