The heart-warming family musical favourite Annie will be performed at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from May 31st to June 10th 2012.

British TV stars are to take to the stage in Hong Kong in a production of the classic musical Annie, which will run from May 31st to June 10th 2012.
To be held at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts' Lyric Theatre, the show is one of the best-loved family musicals of all time, following the eponymous red-headed orphan girl on a heart-warming rags-to-riches tale.
Fresh from a successful UK tour, the cast includes Su Pollard as the dastardly alcoholic orphanage owner Miss Hannigan, while David McAlister features as the kindly billionaire Daddy Warbucks, who gives Annie a new home.
The show has become iconic with help from the 1982 film adaptation starring Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney and Carol Burnett, with songs such as It's A Hard Knock Life, Easy Street and Tomorrow becoming old favourites.
Various matinee and evening performances are available throughout Annie's Hong Kong run, with tickets for sale from HK$350 (£28.30).
The show runs for two and half hours with an interval and is performed in English with Chinese subtitles.
