What: In recognition of Data Privacy Day on Jan. 28, 2012, Coalfire and The Center for Identity at The University of Texas are putting together a complimentary live seminar on the consumerization of IT.
When: Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 – 9:00am – 12:00pm CT

ACES Building, Room 2.302. Coalfire will also be live-streaming the event.
Who: Coalfire, a leading, independent information technology Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT GRC) firm that provides IT audit, risk assessment and compliance management solutions, has assembled a panel of experts to discuss how mobile devices and data distribution via the cloud are bringing new privacy and security challenges to organizations.
Why: Today’s consumerization of IT and the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trend in the office environment are altering the economics of corporate IT by shifting IT asserts from outside firewall to the cloud. This trend introduces a new set of privacy and security challenges.
