FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
With the ComEC universal energy controller for commercial facilities, McDonald’s will maximise their savings by cutting their electric bill by over €1.5 million on their entire network over a 3-yr period.
PowerSines, a leader in energy efficiency solutions, today announced the installation of 160 ComEC energy controllers in all of McDonald's restaurants in Israel.
PowerSines is a leader in the field of energy efficiency and voltage optimisation technologies. The ComEC installs simply after the main circuit switch, stabilising and regulating the voltage output to all electric appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, freezers and lights. ComEC provides immediate savings of 10%-18% without requiring any changes to be made to the electric infrastructure or wiring.
The project to install ComEC in all of McDonald’s 160 branches commenced following the successful energy savings already provided with PowerSines LEC lighting controllers in most of McDonald’s branches. The ComEC project initiated with a pilot at three branches, testing the energy efficiency savings on the total electricity consumption, including refrigerators, grills, air conditioners, kitchen appliances and lighting. Due to the successful energy savings averaging at 10.5% reduction on total energy consumption in each branch, McDonald's decided to carry out a complete nationwide roll-out of ComEC at all the branches.
In addition to the energy savings with ComEC, McDonald’s will have complete monitoring, control and analysis of the energy savings though the Remote Energy Management System (Remote EMS), which connects to all ComEC devices and enables remote real-time and historic analysis of all parameters, as well as full remote-enabled configuration capabilities.
“PowerSines energy efficiency systems are installed in hundreds of companies and businesses in Israel and worldwide," said Gadi Shlasky, PowerSines CEO. "We are very proud to continue to serve our satisfied and loyal customers who return to us to solve their need for energy efficiency solutions.”
